It all started back in 2023, when I was working out in the Pilbara mines of Western Australia as a scaffolder/trade assistant.
Spending long hours on-site, I got to know countless contractors and trade business owners, and I kept noticing the same thing. No matter how skilled they were, most were buried in inefficiencies: inconsistent leads, wasted time chasing dead-end inquiries, and zero systems to help them scale.
Coming from a background in Business Information Systems, I graduated from the University of Galway in 2021. I'd always been drawn to technology and problem-solving. That's what led me deep into the world of automation, AI, and data-driven marketing. I saw how the right systems could completely transform the way contractors run their businesses.
Over the next couple of years, I worked on building a solution designed specifically for trades and home improvement companies.
In February 2025, that vision became reality with the launch of Only Big Jobs.
